First Holy Communion Commemoration Mass 2011

St. Catherine's High School recognises that the First Holy Communion is an important moment in the journey of a child and it has now become a tradition that the School celebrates this special moment together with the students who do their Holy Communion and their parents, by organising a commemorative mass at school.

This year this Mass took place on Tuesday 28th June at 7:00pm in our Assembly Hall.  The students, all dressed in their Holy Communion dresses/suits, assembled in the school main entrance at 6:30pm from where they then took part in a short procession towards the hall.  The mass was celebrated by Fr. Frankie Cini mssp.  Mrs. Marie Midolo, the School Principal, then presented a commemorative token to all the First Holy Communion students.

We congratulate all our First Holy Communion students, and we hope that they treasure this moment as one of life's precious moments.
