Prize Giving Ceremony 2010
The 22nd May saw our prize-winning students for the scholastic years 2007-2008 and 2008-2009, collecting their well-deserved prize during the School’s Prize Giving Ceremony. The event was held at the Catholic Institute Auditorium in Floriana and was presided by Dr. Christopher Bezzina, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Education, Employment and the Family.
The programme started with the Principal's Address and was followed by a dance feature - Welcome to our Family - put on by the Lower Junior students. Next came a special feature to celebrate the hundred years of St. Catherine's High School and commemorate its history of invaluable contribution towards the
holistic educational development of Maltese and International students. The Senior school students presented a number of sketches and a poem portraying Xeni mill-Hajja Maltija, whereas the Higher Junior students staged a playlet called Emergency Centre.
The programme concluded by Dr. Bezzina's address following by the distribution of the prizes to present and past students.
Well done to all the prize-winners for their achievement.
