Thanksgiving Mass
Celebratory events came to their fulcrum on the 27th May with a Thanksgiving Mass celebrated by His Grace the Archbishop, Mons. Paul Cremona, and a visit to our School thereafter. It was a very solemn moment of thanksgiving to God by all who participated - the students from the Junior 2 to the Senior 4, parents, staff and administration - and an unforgettable admission that without the help of God and the Blessed Virgin Mother, St. Catherine’s High School would not be celebrating its 100th year of service!
Following this celebration, His Grace, the Archbishop of Malta, visited our School. After a warm welcome by our Senior students at the school main entrance, during which they sang the School Anthem, His Grace had a meeting with the School's members of staff, during which he was presented with a commemorative painting depicting St. Catherine of Alexandria and done by artist and School Art Teacher Ms. Lee Garrovillo.

Following the meeting, His Grace toured around the Flutterby, the Pre-Junior and Junior classes. It was a very special and moving moment to see our little students welcome His Grace.

The programme proceeded with His Grace and our School Principal, Ms. Marie Midolo, cutting the centenary cake in the presence of our Junior 3 to 6 students. One hundred cup cakes were prepared for this occasion by our Junior students and they were laid on cake table in the form of the number '100'.
In the end, His Grace had a meeting with the School's Management and Administrative staff.
It was truly a significant moment, and by the end of it we were all proud to be part of St. Catherine's family.
