Welcome to this year’s Summer programme at Flutterby, a fun-filled packed programme designed for our tiny tots & youngsters who want to keep themselves busy and active during summer. Our programme this year is rich and varied, offering both educational and entertaining activities which are aimed to promote independence, concentration, problem solving skills, enhance creativity and imagination and last but not least… meant to be fun, fun, fun!… in an environment which is safe, colourful, stimulating and child-friendly.
The Summer Programme will start on Tuesday 3rd July and end on Friday 3rd August (1st part of programme). The Centre will be closed throughout the month of August and will re-open for the second part on Monday 3rd September. The programme will end on Friday 14th September (end of second part).
Parents eligible for the Free Public/Private Partnership Scheme are to send their son/daughter for the entire 5 day weekly programme. Parents not eligible can choose from either a 3 day pack programme (your choice of days) (Fee – €385) or a 5 day pack programme (Fee – €435). Fees are the same for both programmes. The time will run from 8am till 1:45pm.
Applications are open to students from all schools on a first-come-first-served basis but preference is given to our Flutterby, Pre-Junior & Junior 1 students (ones attending already). Registrations will only apply to students aged 2 years to 5 years (students attending currently the nursery level, Kinder 1, Kinder 2 and Junior 1 only). Groups will be composed of 6 kids (age 2/3) while our 3/4/5 year olds will be placed in groups up to 15 kids. There will be two programme: ‘The Summer Fun’ for our tiny tots, aged 2 to 4 years (students currently in the nursery and Kinder 1 level) and ‘The Summer Blast’ designed for students currently in Pre-Junior/Junior 1 level.
Children who are currently statemented and assisted by an LSA on a full time/full time one-toone basis will still need support during the summer programme. Parents are kindly requested to contact Ms. Daniela Grima Bezzina our Learning Support Co-ordinator by sending an email: email@example.com or Ms Karen Galea, Early School Years Director on 77376547 or by sending an email on the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss the matter further before their application is accepted.
Parents whose children are assisted by an LSE on a shared basis are still expected to discuss the matter further with the above mentioned responsible persons before applying for the programme. The final decision regarding enrolment to the Summer Programme will always be at the discretion of the School.
The full fee is to be paid upon registration (either in person or sent by post on the address below). Payments are to be settled directly with Mr. Midolo (School Financial Administrator) and cheques are to be made payable to “St. Catherine’s High School”.
